Future continuous

The point

Will be plus -ing is an action in progress at a future moment. This time tomorrow she will be working. The question is will plus the subject plus be plus -ing.

Form and use

The future continuous is will be plus the -ing form. It says that an action will be in progress at a future time. This time tomorrow she will be working. At noon we will be meeting the client. The be is required. Will working and will be work are both wrong.

Forms: She will be working at nine. She won't be working at nine. Will she be working at nine? Will you be using the room this afternoon? Question order is will, then the subject, then be, then the -ing form. There is no do. The negative contracts as won't be plus -ing, or will not be plus -ing.

Two uses cover most cases. First, the action is already expected to be going on at a named future moment. Second, a question with will you be -ing asks politely about someone's plans, without pushing them: Will you be passing the desk later? That is softer than a bare imperative or a demand.

Contrast this with the simple future. She will send the file names one complete act. She will be sending files all morning names activity in progress. Do not use the future continuous for a single finished decision unless you mean the process. At nine she will be working, not she will working, and not she is will be working.
