A discount to keep the client

This task is a commercial decision: a discount offered to keep a client. Open with yes or no. Your reason must not be a copy of the two posts already on the page. Name a figure, a date, or a shipment so a finance reader can see the cost. A sentence about how important business is does not hold a margin.

Take a side. A discount is not automatically kind, and a refusal is not automatically rude. Give a reason the two students did not use.

Professor

A long-standing client has asked for 8 percent off the next shipment, or they will look at a competitor. Should the firm offer the discount?

Hana

Yes. Losing the client costs more than 8 percent. One quarter of soft revenue is worse than a thinner margin.

Leo

No. If we cut the price once, the next meeting starts at the new number. The quote is already competitive.

14:00

0 words. Aim for 100 or more.
