Speaking

Brief the director

Read aloud, then a 30-second brief in your own words.

This speaking turn is a brief to a director. Read the script, then give a short version in your own words. Keep the decision, the owner, and the time. A mood word such as exciting does not replace a date. If you forget one figure, say the figure you still have and finish. Do not restart with a speech about how interesting the question is.

Read the brief aloud, including the numbers. Then look up and give the director only the decision, the reason, and the owners.

Read this aloud

Parts for the Q3 launch arrive on April 2, not March 20. A March launch is no longer possible. The new date is April 18, and the scope stays the same. Mina confirms the parts. Jun sends the decision note today. The next meeting is Tuesday at 9. If Dallas asks for March, the answer is no, and the reason is the parts, not the preference of the Korea team.

A shape that holds

  • The decision is…
  • The reason is…
  • Mina… Jun… We meet…
